Happy New Month

The month has begun with brilliant sunshine and a very chilly wind. I'm going out for a walk this morning with a friend, to take a few pictures, and chat. It may be a day for my patent waterproofing - a plastic food bag over each sock, before I put my boots on. It could be muddy out there.

Hope you had a lovely walk ali, it's been snowing a blizzard here all day!

It was very pleasant. I'm just starting to write a bit about it for the blog - time I enlivened it with a few photos.

We have sleet, dramatic grey skies and fierce winds at present.

Northants doesn't usually suffer the extremes of North Yorkshire. I'm hoping to go to Coverdale for three days next week, though.

Coverdale? Wensleydale area, I think? Oh beautiful ... have a fab time!

(Depending on what you're up to, and how much time you have, if you fancy an excursion to the seaside it would be lovely to see you!)

:o)

I'm not sure how much time I shall have. My son and family are renting a cottage and have invited us to join them, so with a bit of walking, a bit of grandparenting, and socialising, I'll probably be quite busy.
But thanks for asking. I know Scarborough quite well. My partner lived and worked there for three or four years. I have fond memories of cycling along the Scarborough - Whibty railway track and walking along the Cleveland Way, among other thigs.

I did think you might be busy, another time, maybe.

Enjoy ... :o)
