Moomins… jigsaw.

I love Tove Janssońs work - always have, but more so since we visited an exhibition of her paintings and drawing at Dulwich a few years ago, in November 2017.

We’ve just done our first jigsaw of the winter - seven sessions.  There were a lot of white pieces which took some thought and patience.

one more photo..-

And a snap taken in daylight, before we dismantled it.

Jigsaw Minchinhampton Common

Another tricky one - five sessions and a shorter one.

I set a finish time of 10.30 for early sessions, but the final one, the one you just have to keep at until it´s finished, went on until 1 am.

More jigsaws

I may well look pleased. This "Tree of Life" was very tricky! Finished early in April.

The clocks and compasses were also not easy - the fact that the picture was on the base if the box didn't help us to start with! We finished this one in mid-May.

Jigsaw number 2

The Old Sweet shop. A difficult one - kept us up past midnight on our third session!

Hmmmmmm!

Jigsaw...

Finished a couple of days ago ...we spent three evening sessions on this. All about the sixties - took us right back!
